Kenneth L. Coleman is Chairman of Accelrys, Inc, a leading provider of software for computation, simulation, and the management and mining of scientific data used by biologists, chemists, and materials scientists, including nanotechnology researchers for product design as well as drug discovery and development. With over 500 employees and $80 million of revenues Accelrys technology and services are designed to meet the needs of today’s leading research organizations.

Mr. Coleman is the founder and former Chairman/CEO of ITM Software, an enterprise software company focused on the Information Technology function. Previously Ken was Executive Vice President of Global Sales, Service, and Marketing for Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI), a $2.3 billion computer systems company. In this capacity, he managed an organization with 4,000 employees in 37 countries. In his 14-year career at SGI, Mr. Coleman held several key senior management positions including Senior Vice President of Global Services and Senior Vice President of Administration and Business Development.

Prior to joining SGI, Mr. Coleman was Vice President of Product Development at Activision, Inc., responsible for software development activities. Earlier, he spent 10 years at the Hewlett-Packard Company, where he held several management positions including a two-year assignment in Europe.

Mr. Coleman is a member of the Board of Directors of City National Bank, MIPS Technologies, and United Online. He is the recipient of numerous honors including the Ohio State University Distinguished Service Award, the National Alliance of Black School Educators Living Legend Award, the American Leadership Forum of Silicon Valley Exemplary Leader Award, the One Hundred Black Men of Silicon Valley Lifetime Achievement Award and the Silicon Valley Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame.

Mr. Coleman earned a B.S. and an MBA from The Ohio State University. Mr. Coleman also served as a Captain in the US Air Force.

 

Ashok Shah is a Founder of CEPS Consulting, LLC and serves as its Managing Partner. Mr. Shah has more than 25 years of international experience in all aspects of telecommunications and IT services to develop and deliver innovative consulting services.

From November 2003 to March 2008, Mr. Shah served as Vice President and Managing Partner of the Global Professional Business Division of Alcatel-Lucent. Prior to joining Lucent, Mr. Shah held a number of leadership positions with key industry players, including CEPS Consulting LLC , Digital Equipment Corp., Compaq Computer Corporation, and Hewlett Packard including: General Manager of IT services in New York; Subsidiary Manager of IT services in Iran, Country Manager for the Software division in India; Asia Pacific Manager for the Systems Integration division in Hong Kong and Singapore; and Vice President of Professional Services division of North America Compaq in Houston.

Additionally, Mr. Shah has served as a Vice Chairman of the Dicheng Joint Venture in China.

Now Mr. Shah participates in various professional and community organizations, most notably the Leadership Board of the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston. He serves as a Director of LTIS, a subsidiary of Lucent Technologies. He has been a Director of Sapient Corp. since June 2008 and serves as a Director of Sapient Ltd. He has been a Member of the Advisory Board of Persistent Systems Limited since May 6, 2009. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of LanceSoft, Inc.

Mr. Shah recently served as the President of the Indo American Chamber of Commerce in greater Houston and as an Executive Council Member for the National Association of Software companies in India from 1991 to 1993. He currently serves as a board member of Pratham, a charity organization and a Member of the Executive Advisory Council for the College of Business Administration at Rider University in New Jersey.

Mr. Shah holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Massachusetts and has attended the Executive Development Program at Penn State.
